Grieg Star Bulk AS Founded
Grieg Shipping Group has ordered two new supramax bulkcarriers for delivery in 2012. The shipowner will be the new company Grieg Star Bulk AS. To make a clear distinction between Grieg Shipping Group`s open hatch and bulk activities, all existing contracts regarding the bulk activities will be transferred to Grieg Star Bulk AS as from January 1, 2012. While all new bulk related contracts in the future will be entered into by Grieg Star Bulk AS itself, Grieg Star Shipping AS will continue be the commercial manager for the bulk activities, now carried out by Grieg Star Bulk AS.
This internal restructuring will make no practical changes for customers or suppliers, and the contact persons will remain the same.
Managing director of Grieg Star Bulk AS is Camilla Grieg, and the Chair of the Board is Elisabeth Grieg. The company is a Norwegian shipowning registered company without any employees.
